NOCMA hauls 2million litres of Fuel

National Oil Company of Malawi (NOCMA) has today hauled 2Million Litres of Fuel into the country.

The fuel has been hauled via Central and Eastern Africa Railway (CEAR) via its Matindi and Kanengo Fuel Depots.

According to Likambale, on the distribution, 1Million has been offloaded in Blantyre while 1 Million has been offloaded in Lilongwe.

More Fuel tankers have been hauled from Dar-Es Salaam enroute to Lilongwe.

In few days to come issue of fuel will be history as more tankers and railway companies have increased the volume.

“In addition, 44 Trucks carrying 1.9 million litters of petrol have already crossed the border at Songwe with additional 1.6 million litres to cross the border later today,” he said.

Since NOCMA starting hauling fuel by rail , they have hauled 30.5million litres using  818 rail wagons.
